Thanks for the feedback, having read through some of the forums, it does seem like I am not alone with this, which is comforting. Finished session 1 last night, had great night out with my family. When released from my fears and anxiety life is good, just wish it would occur more often.

You're not wasting your time!  It's good to find a place to vent to people who can identify with what you're saying.  Those who aren't depressive have no way to relate to the feelings and thought patterns we go through.  Anything to help, even a little, I'll take right now.

Welcome to our support community.  Please know that the program can be of great assistance.  The members are also of great support to you, as they know where you are coming from.  Take the depression test and give a copy to your physician, this can help better assess the situation for you both.
 
Start slow and read through some of the knowledge before beginning.  Get acquainted with the site and let us assist you.

Hello,
 
I have had on and off issues with depression since I was a child. Have been through psychotherapy, tried antidepressants (lexapro) under medical care and still find myself getting into depressed ruts.
 
Latest bout hit shortly after I finished building a dream home for my family and I. Since moving in last summer, I was supposed to get my business back up and running- found it harder than I thought- not going well, as the past few months have gone by- things business wise have not gotten better. Find my energy level dropping, interest in things leveling off, sleep and worry about things alot.
 
Good news is I am tired of feeling this way, really want to stop worrying stressing over things and get on with my life. Strangely enough for this I am motivated.
 
Am approaching this program with help of my therapist. Feel like I am setting off on a journey to unknown- hopeful yet worried that I am wasting my time.
