Hi DL - Well-look at you go. Congrats to you on a week down. I know you had a difficult start but I'm so glad you stuck with your decision. You caught my attention in one of your early posts when you mentioned that you have OCD. I was diagnosed with this at a very young age (they didn't know what to call it yet) but have managed it fairly well in my adult life. From Mild to Severe I fall on the milder side. The "routine-ritual" aspect for me is the most difficult when it comes to not smoking. It is certainly still do-able but I think it can add an extra dimension to the process. I've had a few real rough patches here and there but have made it through alright. Just want you to know that you are not alone and this can be done. If you have some rough days down the road just know that you can make it through OK. There are also some good suggestions and help aides if you google Quitting smoking and OCD. And holler if you need any help. DL - You are doing a great job. You've said "NO!" to 150 smokes and already gained an extra day to your life - and who knows what wonderful blessings that day may hold for you! Think about it, you've not smoked/said NO! 150 times....you're getting pretty good at this non-smoking thing!
