Hello there fellow Feb 2006 quiters - I have been on the site quite a bit but not posting much. It's getting easier - I really think this site has helped a lot. I cut the patches in half - now 10 1/2 - next I will go down to 7 - then cut them in half. Certainly works for me. How are the rest of you doing - still hanging in. Anyone starting to find your sense of smell is getting more acute. I now can smell smoke on other people that I never noticed before. Makes me wonder what I must have smelled like. Keep up the great work - I like hearing from my fellow Feb. Hi all you Knights of the Empty AshTray (February quitters). Somehow when I joined, I missed all the stuff about quit groups, ie a group of people with the same 'quit month' in common. Riverdale Man put me right on this yesterday. :)Hi I haven't posted before but I have been reading here every day. I think its the only thing that's really helped with my quit.I quit(Cold turkey) on 14th Feb, which makes 34.5 days nico-free. Of those days, I have been reasonably comfortable for only about 2 of them, the rest have been crying, raging, sleeping cross-eyed, black mood days !! However, I think things may be on the up at long last - today I went to the shops and could barely contain a sort of euphoric state of mind. I wanted to jump about and sing at the top of my voice with the muzak - very embarassing if I had done - obviously too much oxygen!! I don't know why it happened today particularly, but I'd like some more please, here's hoping !! Regards ozzgran
