Dear Lady,
Sorry I am coming in a little late here as I just found this thread.
Do what you tell us to do... Take a deep breath, stand in your own power, and speak your truth, whatever that truth is.
You cannot do his quit for him, BUT you can be there for him. And whatever he chooses, he chooses.
YOU have the right and the responsibility to set boundaries, for you and for your family.
Trust yourself and trust your intuition, Lady. You know this journey, you know the nooks and the crannies. The hidden trap doors, and the Light at the end of the tunnels on this journey.
Trust yourself! Stand for your truth. And let your dad know that you love him and you are there for his Quit when and if he is ready to make that journey. And that it's also time for you to stand for your truth. What a wonderful opportunity for you both to honour where each of you is in this process...and at the same time, stand for yourselves, each of you, stand for your truth... He does not have to agree, neither do you with him. Love is love, and love is messy, Lady. And you can do this...
You have changed my life dear one, with your wisdom and your support. You can change yours and his.
Come here and process with us, it's safe and sacred here...
And tomorrow is another day, Lady...
Blessings and Love-
Healer
