Through the past 39 days I have had some different outlooks on smoking. Lately I believe I have seen the light! Maybe I am wrong and may sound like one of those self rightous non smokers but really if you listen you will hear a former addict admit how wrong she was about smoking for many years! In this site I see some people who are here and are bound and determined to make it and you know they will. Then there are others who just don't really want the battle...they are still in the I wanna quit stage, I just don't have the kahoonas to follow through. Life's a bi*th. Everyone has heard that, read that, or said that at one point in time. Does that mean you just say heck with it and jump off the bridge? No! You hold on for lifes little roller coaster and enjoy the ride. There are good times, there are bad times in life and when you get hit with a truck load of bad times you just dont give up and jump off the bridge do ya? Nope you deal with it....well when times get hard in your quit, lighting a cigarette is the same as jumping off a bridge, they both will kill you, so the best thing to do is deal with it right? If you view you life as a game of chance then continue to play the game and smoke but if your life has some sort of value to it then dont jump off that bridge!!! Step back and take a look at what matters people...A CANCER STICK OR A LIFE. You have family. You have someone out there who you love and who loves you. Think of them if you aren't smart enough to do it for yourself!!! It is hard!!!! Bite the big one!!! You will survive!!! Life does not end with quitting smoking, it ends with smoking!!! Get up and enjoy your smokefree lives!!! Quit moping about how horrible it is without a cigarette!!! I did it too I know it sucks but the sooner you realize what I realized and have shared with you in this post the better you will feel about your quit and about your life!! Thanks for listening to my rant.
