Hi Taildragger. I watched too, and couldn't believe when he said he hadn't had a cig in 30 hrs. and smokes 3 packs a day! What is he thinking! He must have known for quite a while he was going on the show. You would think he would have quit before he got on the island. I hope it won't throw his game off. He may turn out to be one of the lucky ones who can quit without much preparation. Not me. And what will he use as a substitute? No carrot sticks or sunflower seeds for him. I don't know if anybody watches Survivor on TV but they have a guy on there who normally smokes 3 packs a day and now he is on an island with no smokes and having a tough time. I hope he makes it.

I guess that would depend on how long he was on the island with no smokes and how determined he is to stay quit when he gets off the island. I'll be interested to hear how he does. I don't watch the show myself (never have been one for "reality" TV) so ya'll will have to keep us posted!
