I'm thinking of getting a haircut after my 1st smoke/nicotine free week. My dh is the one who made me quit and I'm determined to make him pay for it. ;p Maybe after a month's quit I can get a health club membership! hahahaha :eg:
He's right, I did need to quit and as much as I hated him at the time, he knows me very well and knew what buttons to push to get me to do it (I have not admitted this to him).
What are the ways you are chosing or have chosen to rewards yourself? Give me some ideas! T.

For our (my husband & I) first week ... we went out to dinner.
I have not thought about a reward for 30 days yet. Honestly, not smoking is reward enough. Seeing my meter say 30 days will thrill me ... not even realizing that it has been 30 days will thrill me even more.

My reward is a laptop after I have done 6 months, I have to use my daughters at the moment which isn't fair to her as not only do I visit this site I also do my family tree which takes hours of work - so my very own laptop would be great

Great rewards folks. I was fortunate enough to have a beach overnight planned for my first week due to it converging with mothers day and my wife wanted to go to the beach mothers day. I made it an overnighter and that was my gift. PLan on doing a 3 day weekend with just me and the wife around 6 months and maybe a trip out of state or country at 1 year. As you may or may not be able to tell I like to travel.
Shevie,
I like the drum kit. Not a bad thought. Not sure my wife or neighbors could handle it though.

Keep them rewards coming. Very important part of quitting.
You guys rock

It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......

I have that exact same drum set in my house! My 12 year old plays it. Cool! I'll have to show him yours.
