Hi Mc,
Funny, I just replied to a post and said almost the same thing. During my early quit there were several members that I bantered back and forth with. Shevie, who is still here (thank goodness), and also Catdaddy, Carpepax, and Kiwikeith who I never see anymore. Cyber groups are odd in that once someone is no longer on site, you have no idea what's happening with them. Im lucky that some other good friends who helped me tremendously are still here often. 3galeh, Rusty, Duffis, Lolly, Ladybugg, Luna, NotPatchesAnyMore, Walkingeagle and Attaboygirl have always been here while Ive been quit. Some like Major Dude, Penitent, and Joyfulspirit arent around as much now, but still take time to come in and lend a helping hand.
You quit a few months after me. Ive noticed that if you stick around, some of your buddies will leave and than return. Christmas was like old home week for me. So many of my mentors showed up it was great.
As far as your advice is concerned, its priceless. Do you remember the first few weeks? It really wasnt so much WHAT someone said, just that they were there and took the time to respond. Your humor and encouragement have helped many on this site. Dont worry about the content your presence itself is very much appreciated.
Not cravin', never cavin'.
