Congrats on the stats!
I'm a first timer myself and have smoked for a similar length of time. I've thought about this and come to the conclusion that if you've tried before, you may have learnt from past mistakes and be able to prepare better. However, there's also the physcological factor: having failed, will may fail again.
However, the most important factor of all - DO YOU WANT TO QUIT MORE THAN YOU WANT TO SMOKE?
In our case, I think the answer is yes!
