How is everyone figuring their "6 months": Is it a certain # of days? Or should we do 31 x 6 = 186? (Some months don't have 31 days...) Or, do we just use the day of the month that we quit as the 6-month cut off day? For example, I quit on Aug. 31, so would my 6 months be the last day of February? That doesn't sound right. Sorry if I'm nit-picking, but I'm trying to calculate if I can use my birthday, (Mar. 1,) as my 6 month anniversary. Cold Turkeys can be annoying... MC...if you want to use your birthday (March 1st) you go right ahead. I was using number of days but when you get to six months, it's just easier to start using the date. Seriously, I'm 223 days now. How many months is that. Too complicated for me and I'm an accountant. It does suck that some months have 31 days because I quit July 1st and July and August both have 31 days! I'm looking at February to make up the difference. :) I'm a cold turkey too....does it show? Oh and by the way....
