Welcome Lori, We have been hoping you would find us. Glad to see you are still doing well on your quit. Sorry to hear the last few days have been rough. :( We all hope for a better and easier tomorrow. Some of us get it and some us don't. Just hope we all get our fair share of good one too. I quit cold turkey so I could try and just get the withdrawl over with. My first intentions was to use the patch, but said heck with it and just quit. Luci-Lou* You still doing well? Hi Lori, This may seem REALLY weird, but I noticed in the weekend pledge, you said you were from Kansas City. I lived in KC for 4 years... I'm now in SW Missouri... and I had a roommate while I lived there named Lori and we both smoked when we met almost 8 years ago, and still smoked when we moved in together in 2004, but I quit in June of 2005 and we quit living together in August. I had showed her this site several times, but she always said that she wouldn't quit. You're not her, are you? If not, this is just a REALLY weird coincidence. If so, I want to say hi and congrats on finally quitting! I know how hard this is for you. And if you're NOT her, then I STILL want to say congratulations on quitting. Hey Aunt Sissy...I can always count on you to respond!!! :) Some days are definately tougher than others...and for no apparant reason!! I talk to myself so much i'm starting to ANSWER myself!! now THAT'S wierd!! :p As for the eating - i am being lenient on my 7 lb weight-gain...at least until next week when i plan on joining Weight Watchers and losing the 7 lbs and more!!! Glad you like the poem - this group is my saviour! I like knowing i'm not alone, even though i sometimes feel like no-one around me understands... tomorrow is our 3-week - and i expect to celebrate with you!! BREAKERS RULE!!
