Joyfulspirit. I think I know what is scaring you.... Want my opinion? Oh so glad you said yes :p
It's called Hell Week! Quitting is Hell and you remember that. You are now hiding behind the smoke screen instead of dealing with your emotions. The junkie is once again in control and you don't have to deal with your actions. As a matter of fact, about the only thing that really matters is when and where your next fix will be.
You don't have to deal with anyone because you now have your "friend" back. That companion that is always there, your best friend.. the one that whispers... Just go ahead and smoke, it will be ok. Well look at yourself in the mirror. Go ahead and look. You are not ok. You know about the freedom so smoking won't ever be ok again.
You know that smoking is a cop out and that you are so much stronger than the junkie within you. You know that you have good friends here that aren't going to just sit by and watch you go by the way side. We love you and we are here for you. You are here for a reason. You are seaching for something that is already inside of you. Courage.
I saw that you recently read this post. I bumped it because I wanted you to read it again. As a matter of fact, go back and read it one more time. One step at a time, my friend. The hardest one is that first step. ((((HUGS)))))
