Was I ready to quit?

for 19 år siden 0 10 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
You are never Ready to Quit. In reality the best you can do is have the mindset to quit. Each persons quit experience is different and similar. It was easy to start. It's an addiction because it is hard as hell to quit. Everyday it gets a little better - My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/10/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 412 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 25,959 Amount Saved: $4841 Life Gained: Days: 67 Hrs: 16 Mins: 46 Seconds: 46

Morning glory I went back to smoking for 3 days after a 107 day quit. I am back to my quit because the smoking was awful. I had a 3 day headache. I was so nauseated that I almost vomited and I had to go to bed. My heart was racing, and I felt really really guilty. Is that what your ready for???

morningglory...yes we enjoyed smoking cause we were "addicts"...when the junky in us clamored for a fix and we gave in, it satisfied that addiction for a bit and so we felt better. (hence the thinking that you enjoyed smoking) Don't be afraid....there is really nothing to fear about quitting....it's merely 'choosing' to not smoke. You are doing a fantastic job. The first few weeks are by far the hardest....it becomes easier the longer you go. have you got a reward program set up?? get one going....short term and long term rewards.....and then when you have a blue day, treat yourself! It's perfectly natural to have down days (we also had those when we smoked, but we tend to forget that) so when one comes along...jump in here and vent for all you're worth...then give yourself a treat and rest assured that tomorrow you will most likely feel better. Congratulations on your quit....hang right in here....you will never be sorry! katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1544 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 61,793 Amount Saved: $8492 Life Gained: Days: 201 Hrs: 12 Mins: 6 Seconds: 27
