This is amazing and wonderful information and a fantastic set of benefits for everyone!
Lets hear more.
One of the aspects of my quitting that I really benefit from is this site and the people here. Non judgemental (yeah, there are opinions and they belong to their owners), people here are supportive, understanding and willing to hear and give of themselves. A real plus in my life and one of the reasons that I have been able to keep this quit.
Thanks looking to hear more ...
Phillip

I have more recognition of what is going on with me. If I am tired, or if I have lots of pep, it I am numb or if I am full of life.
I like being more aware of me rather than being shrouded in the fog and mind glazer that the nicotine provided.
Cheers
Thanks for letting me know how you benefit from quitting.

I don't subdivide my day in cigarettes.
I don't get anxious wondering when am I going to get a break so I can smoke.
My car doesn't stink.
I can date nonsmoking girls and not feel guilty because I want the date to end so I can go smoke.
To that end, I can enjoy company in nonsmoking situations more fully since I don't require intermissions.
I can run for miles and miles.
I can ride for miles and miles and miles.
I can swim for, well, maybe a mile.
I think my sinuses are finally healing.
I don't think about cigarettes much anymore.
I'm proud of this decision I've made.
I'm more confident.
I am more like myself.
I am happier.
My Mom's proud of me. So is my Pops. And my bros. The dogs probably are to - they just can't express it.

The biggest benefit is most definately the friendships I have made here. There are so many good people here.
I spend more quality time with my sons now and we are learning how to play golf together. My 12 year old told me that I'm a lot more fun to be around now that I don't smoke.
It doesn't get much better than that. :p

I can laugh without breaking into a hacking fit.
I can hug my wife without her coughing at my smoky stink.
I can have an extended conversation without smoking interruptions.
I can watch a cable movie or PBS show and not miss anything.
I no longer care which way the wind is blowing.
I can keep the car window up in the rain (what little I experience).
