Lady,
I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you. It sounds like you got some amazing advice though! This is a great thread for dealing with all kinds of emotions that the quit often brings out. Lonliness is often the hardest emotion to deal with after quitting. It seems that we used cigarettes as our "friend" whenever we were alone, and for some reason (that reason being addiction) we didn't feel as alone when we smoked. Well guess what?!?! You're not alone! You've got many, many, many people in your life who love and care for you! No matter what else happens in your life, just know that you are never, EVER alone!
It's normal to feel scared when change is on the horizon, but change can sometimes be a good thing... and in this case, I think that it is good for you! You're doing some amazing things in your life! You have so much to be proud of! We are all so proud of you! I'm sure you'll do great in this new job and any other task that you take on. You're a winner! Glad to hear you're feeling better. Hope that it stays that way! But even if it doesn't, just know that you are never alone. You have many friends to turn to!
Crave the Quit!
Pam
