When I come to this forum I ask, reply, and post topics that are sincere and from my heart. Being a writer, I spend alot of time on my posts, and re-read and edit where need be to humor the perfectionist in me too. That's real honest. On some things I have written, I feel like I am making a difference in not only my own quit, but whoever may be stumbling upon this site in the way that I did, and finding a post. People can sense your energy and your intention in the way that you write something. Your words are felt. They touch hearts.
Sometimes they don't.
That integrity speaks volumes about who you are, and that may speak volumes for others in their quits (no matter where the meter says they are). I never expect an outpour of replies when I post but there seem to be alot of people who relate to me. I have to first and foremost express my gratitude here to all who have supported me and rah rah'd me insofar on my journey here. I don't have to list your names here because you already know who you are ;)
Learning about who you are
The real you, the one who was hiding behind the smoke all those years, is emerging. Thus, you will find out who you REALLY ARE when you are quit.
In order to find out who you are, you first need to find out who you are not. So, for the sake of my own truth factor, I am going to make a list of my 'nots'. You may feel free to add your NOTS to this thread, to discover on your journey who you ARE through your NOTS! :)
Here goes. I am NOT-
Political
Dishonest
Manipulating
Selfish
Fearful
Doubtful
Insincere
Phony or Fake
Weak
Jealous
Pitiful
Pathetic
Shy
Sneaky
Angry
Stressed
2 faced
Poor in Spirit
Unhealthy

I am sure there will be more but this is a good start. Cheers to you all finding out who you really are through your 'NOTS'!!
