Hi folks...............you've missed me haven't you! (well.....OK then.....probably in the same way that you've missed food poisoning). I haven't been around because I've been simply getting on with it, but was prompted to have a look in because I would not be where I am today without the support and the knowledge and the few swift kicks up the rear when required. It was great to see Bogbott popping back in...........get quit you big softy or I'll come down the motorway and sort you out! Remember that Bogbott..........it sorted me out when you used the same words to me a few months ago. I hope you will be OK this time. Lots of new faces and names...............but the same fears and problems and worries that we have all had. No matter how hard and difficult it seems..............take inspiration from a constantly failed idiot (that's me in case you hadn't realised) who cannot quite believe that he is on over 200 days! Walking into the supermarket this morning in the blazing sun and heat, I was struck by a crave.................."where the hell did that come from" I said to myself. It lasted at least one tenth of a second and was smashed out of existence by my brain saying, 1. You don't smoke 2. It would taste horrible 3. You don't want to go back to all that withdrawal s**t (to quote Mr Bush!) 4. Whoopee the crave has gone So I suppose the moral of the story is that it never goes away, that desire to stick one of those stupid things in your mouth, but it does get a hell of a lot easier to deal with. Anyway, mad englishman needs to get back out out in the sun now. But remember the easiest way to stop smoking.................. Simply don't smoke!
