I think that some peoples' program emphasize being smoke-free and others' emphasize being nicotine-free. I've been in 12 Step programs where one or the other has been emphasize. I used CT this time, partly because I wanted this quit to be more difficult than the quit I had 17 years ago for two years where I used NRT. I did quit smoking right away, which for me was a big victory, because I didn't really believe that I could be smoke-free. This time, I wanted to remember just how freckin difficult this quit is. CT. I was really physically sick.
