I want to join the July Extinquishers too! Am not there yet, but 7/30 will be my Day One - I sooooooo want to get rid of this filthy habit. Am currently journaling time/task/reason for every single cigarette I smoke - unbelievable how often I write down that I want to smoke just to 'think'. Am gearing up to fight those mind games & look forward to gaining strength from those ahead of me and those that are in the initial withdrawel trench with me.

Morning to those extinguished in July! Yours truly snuck in there toward the end BUT - - still smoke-free and HAPPY. First 'happiness' I've felt since I quit. Hope it lasts awhile!
Hey Misty, I too am in AZ. Living in the desert is like being at the beach, minus the water!
Where's Correen? Haven't seen posts in awhile.
Big wave to Krissie! Dawghouse, you following us? We're looking forward to you joining us on board 8/8 - :-)
Here's to another SMOKE-FREE Day!

hey guys,
Just checking in, working my way through DAY 5.. I am sooooo pleased with myself I could burst.... LOL
It's not as bad as I thought it would be this time round.. I guess I just have a totally different mind set, and having this wonderful support network is also a big plus...
How is everyone else holding up??

I have been quit for 4 Days, 12 hours, 21 minutes and 42 seconds (4 days). I have saved 19.99 by not smoking 90 cigarettes. I have saved 7 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 28/07/2006 00:01
Working on day 4... It's been great so far, not a single craving all day.. It's now 25 past 4 in the afternoon here in the UK... I took my daughter out for a celebratory trip to the Cinema today to reward myself for surviving this far....
Only problem was I don't drive, and the cinema is at the beach, about 6 miles away... We walked it all the way there and back.... And it was the most fun we have had together in a long long time...

Wow, so many quitters in the Month of July... I am honoured to be amongst you all... Admittedly I just make it as a july Extinguisher as my quit date is 31st July.. But I count right??
After I have quit for 6 months I am going to use the cash to take my partner and myself away for a weekend. We went to Athens earlier this year for my birthday but I would like to visit Prague or Budapest next. It will though all depend on my University coursework cause by the time I have quit for 6 months I will be just finishing my exams... POOH!!!
