Hey Shevie, A very good thread You Posted here, and it sure makes sense, I came along in March of 2003, And what has carried me to where I'm at today was my Positive Attitude after I had that last cigerette, Friends, You can't let Your guard down today, for there is temptation all around You, But only time will make that positive attitude stronger, Yes, I see smoking around me daily, reguardless of whether I stay home, or go down town, You might say I've placed myself in prison behind bars, and when let out, have told myself not to go to certain places,
You know like Father's Day, I went into town to my Son's house for a cookout, will when I arrived, 3 or 4 of His male friends who he worked with was siting in the back yard, along with there wives, and do You know, Everyone of them smoked, My Son don't,, but it was quite strange to me to be there amoungst all those smokers, But then it comes back to Your mind set, Your Die-Hard Mind -Set,
I don't know whether You agree with my method or not, But You do what works for You, We are not all mentally and physicial the same, so why would We All think alike,
I believe it was Bubba Who said one time a couple years back, once a smoke addict, always a smoke addict, Well I always had trouble swallowing that theory, even though 98 out of a 100 agreed with Him, You see, I took an oath on day 1 of my quit, right here on this website, that a cigerette would never touch my lips again, Well the longer my quit, the stronger I get, O'Yeow, Thanks for letting me Vent Shevie, Great Post, Smokeless In Oklahoma :)
