 Marie I'm so sorry your brother is unsympathetic - but your quit still belongs to you, and it's still intact. Don't let anyone take it away (or take control of it) by spoiling, sullying, or upsetting you. Tomorrow is another day. You've done exceptionally well and one day soon you'll smile proudly and say "I know that I've made it now....". Chin up Ozzgran

Marie Hi - We haven't met but I recognise a fellow "sensitive soul" when I come across one!!!! I guess we're all "sensitive souls" right now and need to vent. I wasn't able to download my quit meter when I first came to this site, so I usually just add my "score card" at the bottom of a post - but forgot to do so when I replied to your post!!! I generally just read how everyone is getting on without posting much but, for some reason, your post struck a chord and I wanted to add my two-penny worth!! I'm delighted you feel a little more "cool" about your brother and things in general. I am currently in a fug and feel as though there are lots of things going on in my mind that I would rather not have to consider, because now they will need to be dealt with. In this respect, I can relate to many of Lady's posts and also to Rob47. I know I'll get through all this, eventually - I guess it will be on a Tuesday!! Until then, I keep on keeping on, trusting the words of all those who have gone before. Keep your chin up and a smile on your lips and I will too - Ozzgran My Quit Date: 14.02.06 (nearly seven months!!) jiI'm glad your feelings about your brother have normalized to some extent, maybe you recognise that he usually . I do know how it is to be on the receiving end of greturned - have returned (if only temporarily)

Visiting my MOm will be a treat. She is so cute, like a four year old and I love visiting her. I also love going home, (the place of my youth) in the fall for the freshness of the air and the cool clear breeze of the mountains. It will be interesting because that is where I learned to smoke. The relatives can have the house I will have the vacation. Woohoo Marie Awesome Cleaning and making our environment new really can help with the quit. A clutter free environment also reduces my anxiety. Glad you are doing well Phillip PS My relatives want to come back. I think I will go out to BC and visit my Mom. So I have not been here very much in the past few days. I have had some out of town guests, and family visiting. I would take a break from my family and smoke some 6+ months ago. I don't smoke so I can't do that now and finding something to take me away has been like finding a box of Calgon in an epson salts factory. I'm serious "Calgon take me away!" I want a break and I just have to retrain myself to just do it. I would have done it when I smoked something in my thoughts prevents me from being so coniving now. I have cooked and cleaned and done a tonne of stuff. I just need to take my breaks and reward myself for the great job I am doing with all of them. EEEEEEEEEEEE I will be glad when there is quiet and peace and a much less rigorous schedule. Haven't had this happen in some while and there is a place for practice and more practice and more practice. My patience will build and I know if I follow my programme of breaks and rewards I will get through. But OMG they do stretch me! :gasp: My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 196 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,920 Amount Saved: $1470 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 22 Mins: 41 Seconds: 47
