The number one reason for me is that smoking as not allowed at so many places and smokers are really diregarded as less than human in society in so many ways that smoking makes no sense anymore. I know this probably seem,to many people, to trivialize the obvious health concerns of smoking and obvious benefits of not smoking: hence smoking never made much sense to begin with. Sorry. I enjoyed smoking and I will admit it. And I do miss it, but not as bad.
But the 60's and 70's are over and that's that. I wish societal angst would focus more on the makers of the product than the consumer, but that would involve people actually taking a stand against corporations and government policies, and like I said, the 60's and 70's are over....so that ain't gonna happen. God forbid our complacent youth (and society in general) do any such thing today!!
Enough of that.
Not smokin in 2006, and that is the way it is!
