Bgaines Hunter I Meant your last post the one you posted at 6.10. You do not refer yourself as a non-smoker, so maybe that's why it's hard for you. Marie

BgainesHunter, the only advise I can give you is protect your quit at all cost, you are a smart well educated person and you know in your heart smoking is bad for you. Be quit one day at a time :)Marie

Bgaineshunter,
You can be a nurse! Many if not most of my classmates are 30+, you can do it, just have to want it!
Perhaps taking yourself out and doing something fun would take your mind of it and your cravings?
How did you manage stress in the past? Perhaps keeping a journal would be a good outlet for your emotions?
Keep persevering and keep dreaming big! You have every right to want great things for yourself!

We give up smoking cos... we don't want to smoke anymore ?
Personally i don't care for these 'never-smokers' who preach re: smoking & smokers, so i won't go into it & unfortunately it aint thier fault they act like they do.
You cant give up smoking to please other people, you will feel deprived in your quit.
We all give up smoking cos we wan't to.
