Dear tsikos, I hope you feel a little better girl. Please do not smoke, it won't do any good anyway unless you would feel really bad. I know you won't do that though. Try to stay strong and remember that you have friends here on this site. Talk to us as much as you can. Here is something to make you feel better. Love from Holland. tsikos- I have blown perfect quits in the past out of anger towards my spouse. How stupid is that? The only person I was hurting was myself. After hubby calms down, have a heart-to-heart with him. I bet he apologizes and realizes he was wrong. Even if he is stubborn and does not, you must realize that you cannot control his behavior, only your responses to his. :) You will be in my thoughts and prayers. This quitting is hard enough, combined with family probs, makes it even more difficult---I know---MY family puts the FUN in dysFUNctional! Good Day tsikos. You have gotten some wonderful feedback here. I agree with all of these lovely posts and I hope you are hanging in there. This time in your life will pass. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Being a non smoker is worth the 'quit process'. tsikos... You are doing something wonderful. Don't let anything stand in your way. This time will pass and you will all laugh about it one day. You, your daughter, and your husband will all be fine and able to enjoy eachother longer because you quit smoking. I was praying on my way to work this morning when all of a sudden I looked up and realized that today, God gave me a sunrise. A soft, gently, calm, peaceful sunrise. He reminds me that one day I will live in His kingdom, that I am His child, and that He loves me. I think I will walk hand in hand with Him today. Yesterday is gone and today is a new day. God gave me a sunrise. I am truly blessed and so are you. Congratulations on 30 days of success. tsikos, What would the cigarette do to help? Would the problems go away? Would you feel better? Smoking is not the answer so clear your head of that thought. Take some you time and relax yourself, than approach the subject logically and with a clear head. The quit can bring out the best and worst in people. You may want to remind your husband that every quit is different and he may not have had the symptoms and feelings you are having. Take it one day at a time and share with your daughter your feelings, she is old enough to understand that her parents are having a difficult time. Take some family time and enforce that the family is a strong bond that will not be broken :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
