Kate and Phil,
You say that although you don't feel great, you do not want to smoke. You are turning the corner.
You have reached a part of your quit where although your brain still remembers its reward every hour or whatever, it is simply a matter of time until it forgets!
My favourite cigs were 1st one of the day and the one after a meal. I can't remember the last time I even thought about smoking at these times!
Trust me, stay strong and this will soon be you
Mr Ed :)

Hi Kate,
So glad you're still here. Some days are just yucky and there isn't much you can do. We had bad and good days when we smoked too. Have you been treating yourself well and getting enough rest? VERY important to reward. I hope things start looking up for ya soon. :)
WOW - you're almost 50.....

Hi Kate!
I am glad that you posted!
I can only agree with what everyone responded! We all have those yucky days. And it would be great to just pull the covers up and forget it. I couldn't, but it would have been nice!
Keep remembering how AWESOME you are doing! You have been a wonderful suporter here, and know that you were missed for your absent days!
I know things will look bright again! Maybe it is time to start a new hobby????? Something that really interests you. The possibilities are endless if you think about it!!
Hang in there! It does get better!

Kate...
Glad to see you still around. Was kind of worried about you when you didn't start the weekend promise. :)
Early in the quit there were days that I actually did just crawl back under the covers and have a yuk day. It's ok and perfectly normal. I think it is part of the process to getting over smoking for some of us. I did it a few tmes and know of several others too.
You are doing great. It will get better. Keep fighting the good fight. It is worth it.
