Well I had my funeral today for the "butts." It is a cold damp day here with drizzle, how perfect is that. I dug a hole. Put the butts or as Phil calls them, dog end, a box Put a lable on the box saying "here lyes Dog Ends" 1956 - 2006. Poured water over them and coved them with dirt. I laid a boquet of dead flowers on the grave and said a small pray. I turned over my smoking to God. So tomorrow I will get up being smoke free.
I took pictures. I have a really good reminder of how awful those things look. Short stumpy butts, ashes, burnt matches all laying there in their box. If I want to smoke all I have to do is look at that picture. I would put on my desktop, but I don't think my husband would like that :p In fact he thought I was a little nuts haveing a funeral.
Jan, hope to see you in the morning. I have an appointment for a colonascopy in the morning, but will try and check in before I leave for that. What a way to start a smoke free life :eg:
