Hey Sharon!
Good for you girl, tossed the other 1/2 away.. pretty much what I did when I slipped and felt nauseas as hell..YUCKY!
As for the quit meter I too didn't change it, as you said, come to far and it wasn't a serious offence. We just WON'T DO IT AGAIN :)
Congrats on your 80 days sweetie!

Thanks for the story, Sharon. I'm really happy that the experience was so vile for you; part of me still wants to make sure that it would be as vile for me, but I'm too afraid it won't be.

Hey I agree with you all the way.

Sharon,
practice run. Get up and dust yourself off. Get some tools togethr that will work this time and start doing!! we are all here for you. I almost lost my 200+ smoke free days because life got away from me and I thought one cig would help. I smelled my hubby and boy, STINKYYYYYYYYYYY. But like you, he has to want to quit more than smoking. You can do it girl. Just dont give up trying.
Hugs
Kim

Hi folks
Here's wishing you a happy and smoke free new year.
I'm also here to confess - I've done it again. Was at a new years party and had one glass of champagne too many. I snook a cigarette out of my friends pack and when I got home I smoked half of it. I put it out before smoking it all cos I couldn't stand it.
I can't beleive myself - on New Years of all times too!!!!!!!! How dumb!!!
Anyway I am not going to waste my time by beating myself up - that's not going to get me anywhere. I'm also not going to use this minor slip as an excuse to start smoking again. I'm going to keep my stats too because while I can't be complacent I don't feel this slip is serious enough to discount the distance I've come.
Anyway ever onwards. I am recommitting to my quit today and I will continue to be smoke free.
All the best and thanks for the air time.
Sharon
