The Canadian city I live in is having the coldest day of the year right now it is -35 and sooo windy.
I wanted to give you a visual before I tell my story.
Yesterday I wrote saying what a horrible day I was having, I'm feeling so blue, what do I do?
But today, I got into a disagreement with a co worker(he's a total jerk, and had it coming). That actually felt good.
I left the lights of my car on for five hours, so in this weather, I was standing outside boosting my car, and for one second I let myself think, man I need a smoke!! But I immediatly said to myself, what's a smoke going to do? I'll just feel worse. The whole dialogue with myself took about 2 seconds, then I stopped feeling sorry for myself, and instead was pretty proud of the fact that I could boost the car all by myself!!!
Also I couldn't help smiling a little watching staff and customers, freezing thier butts off smoking outside!!
I'll never have to do that again!!!
Cheers to a good Canadian smoke-free day!
