Are you scared of Quitting? What is the Fear of Quitting? Is this normal?

Free, In my opinion the Fear of Quitting started to recede the day that I quit. Each day, the concept of a successful quit seemed more achievable, each problem experienced where I didn't need to rely on cigs to help me through strengthened the very foundations of my quit. Feel the fear and do it anyway! - the fear will pass Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 227 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,830 Amount Saved: 1702.5 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 22 Mins: 59 Seconds: 11

Ahhhh...the fear of quitting, is the fear of many things. Failure, hopelessness, despair, unhappiness, ect. Actually this fear does diminsh each day into your quit and gets replinished with a positiveness and power and confidence knowing that you have quit the habit........as they say one day at a time.....and anyone can do it. Now I am full of the fear of starting again, but this is not really a fear......I know how hard it was to quit once and for all and I would not want to go through it all again... Its great to be free from the Nicodemon and I am the one in control. Good luck one and all you can do it and well if you have stumbled, get up of your fanny, dust yourself off and get the quit going again...
