Thank you so much everyone. I'm very excited about my new venture. I was a little stressed last night..Daughter at a volleyball game...son had a basketball game (split myself in half to be both places, LOL), getting ready for my last day here (after 7 years) and all the mixed emotions surrounding that. Will be traveling tomorrow to an out of town volleyball tournament, leaving at 6:30...then the phone rings...my daughter has been invited to join a traveling basketball team, and the first travel tournament is this Sunday...it will only cost us $465 dollars for her to step on the court, and it's an all day event (Yeah for me!!...bleacher are so not comfy...I will have bleacher butt by the end of the weekend) Need-less-to say....life continues whether we are smoking or not. For about 30 seconds last night...it all piled up and I was anxious trying to figure it all out and get organized.....and the thought happend..."CIG!"...smoking is NOT an option for me at this point and I Just IGNORED the thought, and went about my busy evening. Please please stay strong all....this is life..new jobs...busy schedules...sickness's....lost jobs....ill family members..exciting events....none of it is a reason to introduce toxins back into your system...you need to be on top of your game with your health to deal with life. Anyways, Everyone stay smoke free this weekend....it's not worth the puff! Ok, I know I've been posting new discussions like crazy lately, but I promise this is the last one....for today...hehe I just wanted everyone to know that I will be starting a new Job on Monday working in a Cancer Medical Clinic (isn't life ironic). I won't go into the job details...but I'm thrilled to be starting there smoke free and excited about what I'm going to be doing. The reason I'm letting you know, is my internet access will not be the same during the day as it has been. I will not have the same freedom to lerk on SSC all day, and I'm sad about this, but I must be a responsible adult and learn my new job..LOL But, I will be able to check in at night and on the weekends when I'm not running kid's here and there, and will make this more of a regular thing. I just didn't want to just disappear for no apparent reason and having someone call out the St. Bernard rescue teams on me!! (cheermom!!!) Living on this site the last 9 1/2 weeks have saved my quit and has helped me grow so strong, and for that I'm so thankful...it's time to spread my wings a little and keep practicing everything I have learned. Kaiti, I'm soooooooooooooooo going to miss our chats all day long while we are supposed to work (shhh I wont tell). You have been such a great quit friend and even more now days since you brought me back to reality. And if you had disappeared, I would've sent out the St. Bernards. Girl, I think this job is such a blessing to you and we both know why you got that type of job. Everytime you want a smoke, go visit a cancer patient that has lung cancer.
