Great post.
Now we know why patience is a key in a succesful quit. Allen Carr says that we should welcome the smoking toughts.
We used to smoke and our brain knows it! Every time we think about cigarrettes and we don't smoke, we deprogram a small
part of our smokers brain. So lets face them as a wonderful challenge; this smoking toughts that our brain throws at us can be used to beat our addiction!
    I think the smoking tought get less intense with time. Sometimes we feel that they are really strong, but I think it is just our perception. We are tired of the fight, and sometimes we just want a break!
      So I'm glad we have each other ; we are committed to succeed!

Wow.  Thanks for the bump.  This does, indeed, help set my mind more at ease.  I have started to get frustrated over my Quit.  I don't crave alot, but when I do they seem to be hard craves.  Now all I need to do is identify the 70,000 triggers and start marking those off. 

Anything to kill the crave.

Wow.......Now I understand why I think about having a cig all the time.  I'm glad to have read that and thank everyone that bumped it up.  We need a section of this forum for "stickies" like that.  Then us newbies will find them quicker and understand our own minds better.
It IS exhausting.  I found I was being angry and very frustrated with myself.  I just couldn't shake the thoughts of lighting up......Still can't.  Well.....Like my Bro-In-Law said.....he still has a thought of smoking now and then.....and that's after 25 years.  I didn't relate him saying that to my thoughts until now.  I thought he was just patronizing me.....
Thank you for this......It will help me stay focused and not feel beat up and frustrated.  I need that and I will need it for a long while.  Once again SSC and the amazing folks here have come to me aid.  I'm proud to be a part of this and maybe help now and then too.
