Get back on the wagon. Grab the rope and hang on. Find the knowledge in what happened and do something different, find new coping mechanisims and get quit again. Call out for support. Read and post here often. Life is calling. OK Jess.. you smoked after 25 days. Now what? Are you going to let that incident determine who you are or are you going to get back on the quit and proceed forward? Perhaps you needed to smoke in order to learn that you don't ever want to do that again. Smoking doesn't solve anything, doesn't make anything better and I'm sure you don't feel any greater now for having gone there. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and lets get going again. We are all addicts here so we understand and most of us have done the same thing. Get mad at the addiction that is not only controlling you but also killing you. Take your life back once and for all. Refuse to give in to the addiction ever again. One step at a time. You CAN do it. There are a lot of people here willing to help you succeed. Jess I know what you are feeling. I have done that three times in the last 6 weeks. This addiction is very powerful and the Junkie is very convincing. But I know this is doable - to quit for good. And you know it too. Like Rusty said. Don't quit quitting. Get rid of the smokes, if you have any. Squish them, wet them, flush them, just get rid of them and start the quit again. Jess, don't quit quitting. Just stop smoking. Get right back up on the wagon. You can do it!
