I thought it was something in the air! I've been a witch all day today... so bad I just warned people! It's pretty bad when you can't stand to be with yourself! Jan - Tell your hubby how lucky he is...I was crabby before I ever quit. (This helped prepare my hubby quite nicely) In fact, he preferred the "quitting smoking" crabby to the "other" crabby but, after he had put one foot in his mouth, refused to go any further to define exactly what the difference was. However, I did find it hard when I lost it at work or with friends when I otherwise wouldn't have. Fortunately, everybody was pretty understanding and the crabby days seem to occur far less often now. Pardon me while I poke the horns back into my head!!!! As I get close to 50 smoke free days I'm excited, HOWEVER, the last few days have been challenging(PMSing). Apparently, according to hubby, and because he didn't experience the same emotions when he quit smoking 2 years ago, I might be overreacting, or was it dramatizing? I think maybe both. Yes, that was it, both. I might be dramatizing and overreacting to the emotions of my quit. Our argument is long past as we talked it out. But it all comes back to - 50 days, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months - "you've been quit quite a while now. Life should be normal for you now." HARDLY That's the ONE thing I wish some people would take into consideration. Hubby understands my sentiments about that subject now!!!! If any of you are experiencing this or have experienced this, I want you to know - I UNDERSTAND!!!! Thanks for the vent time, guys, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 47 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,420 Amount Saved: $423 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 7 Mins: 44 Seconds: 34

Thanks angelcapp and welcome aboard! I have to tell you that at this point in the quit it is definitely easier. It gets easier each day. Any cravings or raw emotions you feel are only TEMPORARY. And that's a great thought to hold on to. Drink lots of water, deep breaths, rest when you need it, and most of all feel good about the wonderful decision you've made! I think we all have "crabby" days, but they too shall pass. Congratulations to you, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 47 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,420 Amount Saved: $423 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 7 Mins: 45 Seconds: 46
