But then just over a month of being smoke free I added on another 14-15 lbs... Soooooo then I reached 25 total lbs of too much JEAN .. LOL ! As with my non smoking, I'm very committed (or maybe I should BE committed..LMAO!) to working on both 'issues' full steam ahead :) Did you lose any more weight ? You were trying right ? Let me know. [color=Purple]Good Friday morning ! Well today is Friday and I just weighed in... one more pound lost :p [b]TOTAL LOSS = 11 LBS ! ! ![/b] and 14 more to go ! It's amazing to me that with tweeking my food intake and eating 5 small meals instead of 3 big ones, implementing more veggies, no crap snacks, adding more fish, no breads (including pasta) and lots of walking and soon to be going to the gym how everything seems to be coming together beautifully :) Also, I do believe in a treat every now and then -- Like yesterday when I went out for coffee I did indulge in a small donut. :eg: Because I know it's not a common occurence and everyone should have a special treat now and then. [color=Purple]Hello Tom, That's the key I found... Putting a plan in place, work the plan and as you go along you tweek it here and there. When you find out what is not working replace it with something else and so on. Also, yes, just as with our stop smoking plan we can then put a similar plan into place :) It will all come together with a lot of patience and yes an attitude to match ! You can do it.. [color=Purple]WOO HOO I've lost another 2 pounds.. now I've lost a total of [b]10 POUNDS ! ! ! ![/b] I usually weigh myself every Friday morning and I was soooooo pleased about the results :) I checked out the gym. It's ok. There are things that they do not have - no showers, no lockers etc. It's pretty much just the bare necessities. Will keep looking though ! I've been able to get in a lot of walking regardless of the weather. So far it's been coolish and the sun is shining - but even if it's raining I'm going to hit the pavement. Did I mention I lost [size=4]10 POUNDS TOTAL ! [/size] LOL ! Now focusing on the next 15...
