Hi Deb
A) a lump on the head or
b) a thread being resurrected from days gone by.

Can you please tell me what a bump is?
Just sharing my experience--this is my third quit. The other two attempts did not include the support group. I think this may be the difference with this quit. To hear so many others struggled and were scared, but perservered. I believe in myself more this time--that I have the strength to get through this. Reading all these success stories makes quitting seem obtainable...
Thank You, All

I'm in that boat that went really, really slow :)
But I have reached the freedom from the enslavement of smoking and I'm not going back. One day at a time, one step at a time. That is what it is all about.
Good post Stickin. :)

I see you have stuck with it over the weekend and that means you are getting better, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month depending where you are along the journey.

Another great post! Thanks Stickin!
Members,
Sometimes it is helpful to get back to basics. Employ those coping strategies and distractions that got you through those first few weeks and don't forget about your rewards!

Yes, sounds very encouraging. It is obvious that it is getting easier for you. Once the craving die down significantly the smoking the memories stage takes place. I call these the after shocks. They consists of more reaching or thinking about a cig out of habit, generally without the crave.

Your are on track and I see you are doing oh so well! Congratulation to you as well! Keep plugging those holes with distractions, keep up your sense of humor and dont smoke. You guys have a great smoke free weekend.
