I'm with Mike and Changing picking up butts......
AND I am a police officer, knew it was against the law (one that is not actively enforced, although it should be) and threw them out the window anyway......
I think I will write myself a warning citation!

I used a clean cat food can, with cat litter and a plastic pet food can cover, instead of the car ashtray.... because I didn't want the car to SMELL like an ashtray - what was I thinking? And always field-stripped my butts and stowed the filters in a pocket or purse until I could dispose of them. Did my hands and clothes stink? Did I think the tobacco shreds and chemicals were environmentally friendly compost?
Yuck...
Guess the answers reinforce my decision, though :confuse:
Thanks Mercy!

Wow, I was a pretty neat smoker too!!
But sometimes (oh, OK, many) I would smoke and just leave them on the sidewalk - and would not stomp on them to put them out.
Really disgusting habit, huh? :confuse:
I always used trash cans or ashtrays when I went anywhere or smoked outside of buildings, but I am sorry to say I did use the window as my car had no ashtray.
Makes you stop think! So glad I quit.

Yes I did. If there wasn't a trash or butt receptacle handy.
If you see a guy in heaven picking up cigarette butts and putting them in a trash bag, come say hello. That will be me. ;)
