Mercy,
I'm not at all qualified to answer the questions that you've asked. I wish I could.
I can tell you that over the last two weeks, I've felt really down. I've been fighting through it and I'll laugh and clown around. But, I find myself really out of it, feeling just down in the dumps, and not wanting to deal with things I normally dealt with and my energy level is down.
I have been treated for anxiety even before my quit. But I've noticed a changed in me over the last two weeks. I'm watching it closely and if I don't pull out of it, you bet I'll be seeing my doctor. What helps me more than anything is to stay busy. This site is great but if you sit, sit, and sit in front of the computer, you're not getting anything else done. Then you turn around and you have a mountain of things that you've neglected. That can add to your depression. I know I feel more down in the dumps if I'm not staying active, keeping my mind focused, and taking care of business. So, I have to balance my time.
I know SSC wants us to come here for support and encouragment but, they have always encouraged us to stay active as well.
Stay Strong,
Tutti
