Hi Ma G,
I've heard it said here that cold turkey v NRT a bit like having removing a plaster from your skin. Do you rip it off quickly or pull it gradually? Both methods have an element of pain, but which is the best?
Mr Ed
ps - I'm a coward, I went for the slow removal
hehehe. I have a high tolerance for pain like when I got my last tattoo near my armpit, my tattoo artist couldn't believe I sat for it without flinching.
So I guess I prefer to rip it off.

In the end it is all a head game when it comes to this addiction. You can do it any way you want...I used the patch and had a good result. The bottom line is its all in the attitude. Your desire to quit must be greater than your desire to smoke. It is as simple as that.
You must teach yourself that you do not need a cigarette...That sounds simple, unless you actually try to do it...Like anything in this life its a matter of practice, practice and practice...Eventually we get it right...
