Hello Butterfly,
You are so cool!! Turn that anger into a positive thing. The addiction is whats getting you so angry. This is ok, its the mind game in progress. There is nothing wrong with getting angry or being miserable. Just realize that the addiction is causing you this anger and now you have to control it. You can do that by thinking of the addiction and how you are beating it. You are winning the fight and the addiction does not like this. When we are angry, we reach for the top pocket. But you control the anger the same way you are controling the addiction. The anger is in your mind. Tell yourself that you are a beatuifull person and you are smoke free and there is no reason to get angry. This is how you re-train your brain. KEEP THINKING POSITIVE AND RELAX! Close your eyes and think to yourself. Convince yourself that there is no reason to be angry no matter what situation you are in. Come to terms with yourself. Stop what you are doing when you get angry and think positive and even laugh a little even though there is nothing to laugh at. Please try this, it works. Remember, it is all in your head and we have the ability to change the way we think. Keep the anger towards the addiction and not towards your every day living. If you feel the urge to snap at someone, stop and focus the anger on the addiction. This works! Use it to your anvantage. The brain will respond to your thinking and you will lose that angerness.
