Thanks guys! And I know that I want to quit more than I want to smoke. But I know why I failed! I am trying to do to many things at once! And next thing you know I am smoking although I didn't smoke the whole thing. My stats are my life and when I start over I know I need to learn from my mistakes. This time around I am going to take things slower, and make my resolve to not let this addiction control me. Today has been o.k. I have my cherries and carrot sticks for my afternoon slump. so here I go! ~Valic

Valic,
If you have done a lot of reading on this site, you will have read numerous times:
" you have to want to quit more than you want to smoke "
That's the first key to a successful, lifelong quit.
Good luck! :)

I was like that when I was 28!
I fear that you may have to wait until your 40's to make it stick......unless you know otherwise!!
I challenge you, young valic, to prove me wrong!!! :)

Hello Valic
Thats why I stand by N.O.P.E. (NOT ONE PUFF EVER). I know where I would be if I even took one puff. That is how addicted i was to those nasty cigs. I wish you luck this time and let us know how we can help you. We all want to see you succeed and we're here for you.
