Thanks Mister Ed,
I gave up so many times that in the end I gave up giving up! That is until now, or May 2004 rather, when my desire to be quit was greater than my desire to smoke. Once that happened, the quit was on and I haven't looked back.
I'm a really big advocate of whatever works for the individual but I would warn quitters not to get quitting smoking mixed up with other emotional conditions that they may be suffering from. I've seen some here who are on the wrong site. Some have embraced that fact and done something about it, others continue to deny it.
If you are here to quit smoking, pure and simple, cold turkey, patches, gum, rationing, tapering, chantix, hypnosis, walking round blinfold with your hands tied behind your back singing "God Save The Queen" - whatever it takes to stay quit - go for it.
Oh and come to this magnificent site for unparalleled support. Those who really need it, get it in spades!!!
Well Ed, they are my thoughts - hope that's good enough for ya!!! :)
