Yes, the chantix helps, but it isn't enough. You have to have the determination to quit and have some coping strategies prepared, especially in the first withdrawal days. That's why the tools to the left are so helpful. Have you had a chance to look at that? Also, drink a lot of water, have something to chew on - a straw, a carrot stick, a sugar-free candy, etc. Breathe!!!!! Some people walk, dance, lift weights. Positive self-talk helps. Pamper yourself, watch a dvd, sleep. Read as much as you can here, and post if you feel like it.
