Oh, how I feel for you. First check with your doctor and tell him/her what is going on. Maybe your dosage is to high. Just a thought. Just keep moving, deep breaths, give yourself a great big hug, tell yourself my body is healing. There are so many things you can do, just don't smoke. Believe smoking only makes it worse. I am a big time relapser (not sure if that is a word). It is so much easier to go though this once than a hundred times. Walk around and tell yourself "I AM A NON-SMOKER :) " As far as your co-workers, I think they can put up with a little druming of the fingers. Believe you smell much better to them :eg: The sleep will come in time. When I wake up like that I do self talk, get up and drink some water and then later use the bathroom. LOL Just give this quit some time and you will be sooooooooooooooo glad you did. We3dumys, A jump in energy is quite common among individuals who quit reason being is that smoking actually used up a lot of your energy by increasing your metabolism everytime you lit up. Temporary lack of focus and high anxiety are also quite common when withdrawing. In time your sleeping patterns will adjust themselves in time as will your energy levels but until then you just have to keep finding ways to expend the extra. Keep persevering! Hi we 3 What day is this for you? I think some agitation is pretty normal, but if it persists I would see your doctor. Are you using any other coping strategies, other than movement? I'm also wondering if you experienced this level of physical agitation once you started the chantix but before you stopped smoking. Still, it might be good to talk to your doctor or pharmicist. The Quit Progam Tools are helpful, and if you need any help in figuring out more coping strategies, just ask, or read posts. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 100 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,000 Amount Saved: $680.00 Life Gained: Days: 14 Hrs: 0 Mins: 40 Seconds: 50

I going crazy here, even with the Chantix. I feel like I just have to keep moving all the time. I get up and just go. I run, I walk 1.5 miles to the train and go to work. I sit there drumming with my feet, my fingers. Drives my coworkers nuts, actually. I ride my bike as much as I can here in NYC, but with traffic, it is very hard for me- I am blind in one eye. The problem is, I can't sleep very well either. I wake up in the middle of the night, and want to go running. Anyone else experience, know how to deal with this?
