Lolo, good post. Feel free to give me advice about quitting any time. I don't expect that everyone will keep thier quit but I like the way you are sharing yours. Taking responsability. You will make it. I'm on your side. Lolo, thank you for your honesty. As a repeater I heard every word you said. You didn't mess up, you are learning. For myself I know how presious our quits are. I hated to lose everyone of them, but each time I quit I learned a little more about quitting and myself. What was amazing is the friends from this site that stood by me and you will find the same. As Phil say just because you smoke doesn't make you a bad person. We all know people who smoke and they are good folks. I am glad you came back and now you have fresh outlook you can share. Early in the quit and even on bad days now I tell myself: As long as I don't light that next cigarette, I've got it made! You can do this! Lolo There are many here who have done what you have done. Myself included. Not the end of the world. Starting at zero is tough, but you had over a hundred smoke free days and you don't have to give them back. You still have them. I know you have learned a lot over the last few months, and you have probably learned a lot in the last few days. This is a very difficult addiction to learn to live with, but we will continue on everyday in our quest for freedom. Glad you are still here with us. You have been a great help to so many. Hold my hand Lolo and we will hang tough together. Lolo, This is your quit and no one elses. You do what you have to do to get through each moment smoke free. Reach out for support if that works for you or sit back and read. Keep searching until you find what works for you. Quitting is the hardest thing I've ever done. I don't know what made this time the final quit. All I know is that I refused to give up. Congratulations on getting right back to it. You can do it. No, I am not giving up. I know that a lot of people just look at the posts without even signing in. So I wanted to post something for all of you. Yes, My stats did change. I was over 100 days but still choose to buy and light up. ME and ONLY me has to make the decision whether or not if I want to smoke. There is great support here for those who need it. I chose not to ask for any help ~ I just did what I felt I needed. You need to do what is right for you. Some may ask for help, some may give help, some may just get what they need by sitting back. Just please remember that we are only human and we make mistakes. We are learning how to live a new life without being dependent.I know I need to learn to take deep breathes and not focus on what I don't have anymore. One day at a time, one minute at a time, one second at a time.
