My favorites for the crave basket are sunflower seeds. I am pretty addicted to them now. Hard candy and the fresh vegetables that I grow in my garden and of course water. The other one I want to add is one that has nothing to do with putting something in your mouth and it is breathing, taking a slow deep breathe and exhaling it slowly, repeating this several times until I feel myself starting to relax. Last but not least taking a long shower.

Skoal is a finely chopped tobacco that comes in a round canister about 3/4" tall. It's sort of like chewing tobacco. The saying in the old commercial stated "Just a pinch between the cheek and gum." The nicotine is absorbed into the bloodstream there and some even swallowed the tobacco saturated saliva, but most would spit it out into a cup or on the ground. The term dip came about, I think, by "dipping" a bit out of the canister.
That stuff is really nasty and causes lip, throat, tongue, gum, tonsil, larynx and many other types of cancer. It really is a nicotine double whammy if you smoke, too! YUCK!!!

Here's a few of my favourites. Those sweet little baby cherry tomatoes with light ranch dressing. Werther's sugar free butterscotch mints.(Mmmmm....one of my faves!)
Ice cold Crystal Light(Pink Lemonade). Ice cold Diet Pepsi. And the odd Tim Horton's coffee thrown into the mix.
Keep the ideas coming,

I hear frozen grapes work well though I haven't given it a try.
Dipping? That's chewing tobacco I assume?

I still chew on matchsticks. The craving now is for a nice dry match with an unchewed end. I don't even remember smoking.
