Check out the casino, Kev. I had a blast there. (Come to think of it, maybe I DO know where my quit money went!) & also the night clubs. They have all kinds of umbrella drinks & all my favourite 70's bands were there. Except they had all their original members & the members all had their original hips! It was way cool. Of course, you can always relax on the deck & smell that fresh ocean breeze. Sven & Jorge were there to take care of my every whim, I don't know who might be there for you, Inge & Juanita maybe? I'm so excited for you! Thanks Josie, Nice to see you. Thanks for locking thread 12. If my thoughts help a single person realise that anything is achievable no matter where you come from or what previous attempts you had then it makes me one happy guy. Thats actually the most rewarding thing I can do. More importantly, which part of the ship would you recommend I explore first tomorrow? Hi guys, Back home now enjoying a nice cup of tea. Unhooked, you speak a whole load of sense! She will back and I will be ready to support her again. I'll let you into a little secret. I wrote most of that post at 8am and then spent hours rewriting it. By the time I have done that I feel a whole lot better and the 'Grr' feeling were a lot less by 5pm. I'm guilty of using the wrong words and I am glad you brought me up on that point. I'm not trying anything I am 'doing' the non-smoking thing. Right now as we speak. Did I tell you that I suspected that she was smoking a while ago due to my improved sense of smell! Bear, not planning on disappointing anyone. Especially everyone here. Not smoking, Not a snowballs chance. As long as I write and not act on my junkie, then all is good. It just means that every now and then you get to see my full junkie at its worst. But you also get the chance to beat the stuffing out of it too. The only good junkie thought is a broken junkie thought. Sue, yep. All packed I think. I'm taking the money saved jar too after hearing about people forgetting where they put the money. :) I am looking forward to it. I shall recount how many crazy shirts I have :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,225 Amount Saved: 205.80 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 4 Mins: 52 Seconds: 39

That's too bad about your quit buddy, Kev. But you know she is neither happy nor relaxed. That's the junkie telling you that. She is back to craving every 20 minutes, being anxious about finding a place to smoke, embarrassed to have to do that, having to give up things she wants, to afford the demon weed. In the back of her mind, she worries about her health and knows it will kill her if she keeps it up. She knows she smells & she is ruining her looks. She knows she is a social pariah. She is envious of you, Kev, & she should be because you are doing the hard thing & you are a winner by being a quitter. Now stop this "try my hardest" nonsense, please. There is no "try" here, there is only "do" & you have "done" it right up to the cruise ship! Kev you are captain of your own ship and master of your own fate but I know one thing for sure if you decide to start smoking again you will disappoint a lot of people :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 163 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,934 Amount Saved: $1,630.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 7 Mins: 25 Seconds: 31

Gen, of course you are right. I am just writing the junkie out of my head to allow new and better thoughts to enter. I decided to get it out of the way BEFORE i get on that ship. It is a strange kev way of getting it done :) Anyway, why would I not want to spend time with my quality non-smoking friends like you?! I hope I didn't scare you too much! (hugs from kev) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,225 Amount Saved: 205.80 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 4 Mins: 37 Seconds: 14

OK You have to get this straight. Your quit is your own. The fact that she has actually been smoking for TWO WEEKS means that she is well out of the running and you are doing so much better so just get on with it now. On your own but with our support and, no doubt, her best wishes. How can you think of going to join the 25 a day gang when you've made it this far - and are about to sprout water wings? Come on now Kev. You know this makes sense. Gen :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 155 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,480 Amount Saved: 775.00 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 13 Mins: 45 Seconds: 32
