My dear friends across the pond, you are probably unaware that rivalries will be exchanged in a sports arena in Lens, France tomorrow afternoon as the might of the United States Rugby Union Football team takes on the World Champions, ENGLAND, in the group stages of the 2007 Rugby World Cup which opens in Paris this evening.
When England won the trophy in 2003, I must have smoked 20 cigarettes during that nail-biting final encounter with Australia. Four years on, two things have changed; firstly, I will enjoy the 2007 tournament WITHOUT the "aid" of cigarettes and secondly, although England may beat the U.S. tomorrow, they will not, it's sad to say, win the tournament on this occasion we'll leave that to our Kiwi friends.
Not to be left out, our Canadian friends play Wales in Nantes on Sunday. Scotland versus Portugal and Ireland versus Namibia also take place on Sunday.
Good Luck to All Nations JUST DON'T SMOKE!!!! :)
