Denzil, Congratulations on your long quit! How awesome to be smoke free for so long. You know, they say it takes an entire year to quit smoking and I believe it to be true. It took me that long. Hang on tight and no matter what, don't light up. It wouldn't be worth it. Take some deep breaths, drink some ice water, kick, scream, cry, whatever it takes just don't smoke. Each situation you make it through makes you that much stronger for the next. Quitting is a tough thing to do and look how long you've been doing it! You are already a success. Don't stop now. YOu are almost home free. You aren't alone either. A lot of us have been where you are. It really does get better. Try it and see for yourself :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 795 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,900 Amount Saved: $2,782.50 Life Gained: Days: 71 Hrs: 20 Mins: 29 Seconds: 24

Well, I say pull out all of those coping skills you used early in your quit. How about some ice cold water, sugar free gum, or some sunflower seeds to keep you busy. Nice rewards are always uplifting :) Pat yourself on the back for your accomplishment so far, and do something nice for yourself! Hi folks been out of touch for a while now. Need some support big time body is fighting back on the nicotine front. Been off the weed since January. Real strong urges and some amount of old withdrawal pain creeping in I really don't feel I deserve this however here it is as big as can be. Need a way to distract or fully accept and reject these unhealthy thoughts and urges. Venting here usually helps. Response from you is gratly appreciated. Regards Denzil :confuse:
