Hello Grin318,
Please do but don't give me credit, I probably read it here somewhere sometime. We all think pretty much alike. By the way, excellent stats!

The reason or reasons. I quit because I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I quit because it is so much easier to quit than to continue the insanity of smoking. I quit because I like you guys :eg: The support I got from family and friends is great, but the driving factor for me was to come here and let you see my final quit since some of you have invested so much time getting me here. Thanks.
Keep the Quit
Sparky

1) totally convinced that it isn't something that God would want me to do. I can't see Jesus deciding to take up the habit
2) Worried that I would get cancer
3) I want to see my grandchildren grow up
4) wanted to be an example to my own grown children
5) tired of a quilty conscience

This is a great thread Carlos,
My health has always been immaculate + i hardly evey got sick.... I am a machine !!!!
Most if not all of my extended family smoke heaps & some drink copious amounts of bear in their ageing years, all are in good health physically & emotionally as they are generally happy go lucky types.
I have been lucky as i have not seen or been exposed to the apparent adverse effects of smoking. I also haven't noticed any difference or improvement to me physically since i stopped smoking so there has been no incentive for me to stop smoking healthwise (honest).
Life can be unfair as i've seen lots of people suffer significant health problems that have knocked down in the prime of their lives.. they never smoked.
I guess you could say that i'm lucky ?... i don't just don't know ... could be the right frame of mind - who knows.
What i do know is that I stopped smoking because i wanted to.
