OMG, yes , aloha, I'm not a crier either. But I remember one time about 45-50 days quit. I was so frustrated at work, and I just burst into tears. Didn't even have a minute's warning to get to the washroom like a self-respecting tough broad would.
Maybe it's because I'm not used to it but I don't cry pretty. When I do, it's heaving sobs, red nose, and snot & tears all over the freakin' place.
Anyway, my friend in the next office, who knows I don't cry, says in this incredulous tone, " Are you CRYING???"
Between sobs, I managed to get out, "Yes, I am but the important thing is what I'm NOT doing, I'm NOT smoking!"
Bless his non-smoking heart, he said, "Alright then", & has never brought it up again.
So, yeah, expect to cry, expect to have emotional things & new feelings take you by surprise. Embrace it, learn to feel it all, it's part of living free & it's part of who you are supposed to be.
